As you’ll notice, they’re all from really talented nail artists, each with their own style, some more kawaii Halloween nails and others leaning into the classic Halloween look. All so cute.

These little cats shaped as super cute ghosts are too adorable! I can’t even. I’m completely obsessed.
If you’re not into the classic Halloween colors and typical designs and prefer softer colors and unique decor instead, I recommend something like this. I doubt you’ll run into anyone else with anything similar, one of the most unique Halloween nails ideas here.
Well to be fair you don’t see that they are black cats since they’re little cat ghosts… but they were!

I love how the black cat and its big green eyes stand out here on that purple nail. And how that one nail stands out from the rest, which are all black. Together it looks sober, but at the same time that funky nail stands out a lot and the whole mani looks really fun.
It’s perfect if you love black nails but still want a pop of color.
Orange and Black Halloween Nails with Black and Skeleton Cat
These Halloween nails orange and black really grab attention, I love them. They’re perfect if you want to go full Halloween mode, with that bright, glossy orange.
And those little details of the black cat and the skeleton cat on the thumbs are perfect. You could tone it down a bit by painting the rest of the nails all black, or if you love bold colors like I do, paint them that same bright orange to be the sensation of Halloween. A set of orange gel nail polish gets you that glossy finish easily.

This manicure is so much fun, I love it. Purple nails with half silhouettes of black cats, their tails curving gently along the shape of the nail tip.
This is another one of those designs I would 100% get done and honestly wouldn’t get tired of looking at all month.

Black Cat Nails for Halloween
Here the little cats stand out too, one on each hand, somewhere between spooky and sweet, over that pastel orange background.
The other nails, even though they’re less eye catching so the cats can shine, are still pretty Halloween-ish with their abstract black designs that resemble cobwebs.
Black Cat on a Moon Halloween Nails
These nails are more subdued in color, with blacks, grays, and whites, but they’re totally Halloween thanks to that glitter on a few of the black nails and the black cat sitting on the moon.
They’re also perfect if you like dressing in black or gray, they’d match really well.

Here the little black cats only appear on a couple of tips and nail bases, the rest is pink or little stars over pink, plus a pair of black French tips.

Cat and Ghosts Nail Tips
These Halloween nails have a light neutral base, and then the French tips combine a black cat on one side and a ghost on the other. Somewhere between subtle and not. Between not wanting a bright orange but still wanting something fun.

These little cat ghosts couldn’t be cuter, they’re basically the definition of cute spooky nails.
Extra Cute Black Cat Halloween Nails with Stars
How gorgeous are these too, these little black cats with their colorful eyes have such a cute, East Asian-inspired vibe to them. I also love the gradient between pastel pink and melon with a bit of glitter.
And their little black stars to make them even more witchy.

More sweet little beauties here. Again over those pastel bases with a bit of glitter and little star details between lavender and light gold, these black cats are so simple yet so perfect.

I can’t even with these chunky little black cats (and that little white cat too). I also love that the nails are packed with detail while the bases stay more neutral, all within that gradient of oranges and neutral tones, totally Halloween but soft and understated.

And one more from the same artist. I loved the thumb detail here, with those three cat faces somewhere between sweet and sweet-mean, peeking out from each side. I imagine the rest of the nails just painted in that same light pastel lilac base with glitter, for something understated but still totally October.

Funky Nails in Hot Pink
I love funky designs too, so this one is definitely one of my favorites. I love that mix of hot pink fading into a lighter sky blue and pink, plus those neon orange tones.
The solo cat only shows up on one nail here, but the little ghosts and spiders on the others complement this fun design perfectly, one that’s sure to turn heads.
Short Halloween Nails with Stars and Dots Decor
These halloween nails short make perfect use of the space they have. A little black cat on each nail over a light pink base, tiny gold dots and stars on the others, and that’s it, a perfect manicure for all of October.

They don’t necessarily scream Halloween (mostly because of the white cats), so if you don’t want black and orange nails that draw a lot of attention, these are the way to go. Hello Kitty Hallowen Nails
Ok so she is not a black cat, but I think she deserved a spot this cat nails Halloween post. Hello Kitty’s colors are usually more on the pink side, but I love this pastel mint green here, it gives off that Frankenstein Halloween feel, just with a Hello Kitty instead of a monster.
The other nails carry on with the stitch details but they don’t steal the spotlight from the Hello Kitty on the center nail.

It looks relatively simple to do but still comes out really eye catching and creative.
